Ever thought about how you could give back to the game what it gave to you as a player? Refereeing just might be the right way for you to keep in the game after your playing days are over. Of course, you train alone, travel alone, are alone in the crowd at the drink-up and you alone take all the abuse and heat for what you do on the field. But besides all that, refereeing has its own rewards. There’s nothing that beats the satisfaction of knowing that you did your best to provide the atmosphere for a wide-open, running, safe, entertaining game of Rugby.
So, if you’d like to give refereeing a try, contact any member of the Pacific Northwest Rugby Referee Society and they’ll steer you in the right direction.
